CRISP 2025 RFP FAQ’s

Q: Is there a form that I need to fill out with my proposal?

Q: I am an independent contractor, am I eligible to apply for funding?

Yes, funding is available for independent consultants, non-profit organizations, local governments and educational institutions located or serving areas within the boundary of CRISP.  All awardees will need to subcontract with the Catskill Center for Conservation and Development.
 

Q: How will letters of support be counted for my proposal?

Yes, each application will be scored according to the CRISP 2025 Proposal Selection Criteria. Letters of support will be used to demonstrate collaboration and be scored higher (10 points possible) by the number and strength of each letter submitted.

Q: Are there species that are underreported that could be surveyed for in this round?

The priority species are Tier 1 and Tier 2 (select CRISP Tier 1 and Tier 2 species here).  Any pathway that exists for Tier 1 species, that can be identified and monitored, would be a high priority.
