Calling all water chestnut removal organizers – make your efforts count!
There is a statewide effort to manage water chestnut and to capture your efforts in iMapInvasives. This information is of interest of the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and is being compiled into an interpretive dashboard intended to showcase water chestnut removals efforts over time.
iMapInvasives is hosting webinar to showcase these efforts and their importance, and empower partners to track their water chestnut pull efforts in iMapInvasives. The entire training will be 2 hours and will include time to attend a breakout session led by PRISM AIS coordinators to discuss any needs for getting data into iMap, and interact with other partners in your region. We hope you will join us!
