Please join us to help protect the Ashokan Rail Trail vistas from invasive species. This invasive species workday will be hands-on removal of invasive shrubs and vines. We will show you how to properly remove invasives at vistas along the trail. Please contact Kate Cooper for any questions at kcooper@catskillcenter.org and let her know that you’re coming to ensure that we have enough gloves and tools. We'll meet at the ART-Boiceville Bridge Trailhead at 9:00am and expect to work until 1pm. Please bring plenty of water, sunscreen, rain gear, and be prepared for poison ivy and possibly ticks. It's about a 1.3 mile walk out to the vista we'll be working on.
