Getting Started with IMapInvasives

This webinar is hosted by the Otsego County Conservation Association.

iMapInvasives is an online mapping tool that supports efforts to protect New York State from the threat of invasive species. It is a cloud-based application that allows resource managers to track locations of invasive species, document treatment efforts and keep abreast of new threats. It also provides anyone with the ability to participate in the fight against invasive species by reporting new species or new infestations. Join OCCA Vice President, Donna Vogler and Program Director, Jeff O’Handley in this online introduction to iMapInvasives. We will cover the basics of setting up an iMap account and using desktop and mobile apps for reporting your findings. The program will require about one hour and will take place via Zoom. Contact Jeff O’Handley at programdirector@occainfo.org for registration instructions.
