At the “Who’s Doing What in Invasive Species Management in the Catskills: Part III” Workshop we will share information from organizations and individuals that are working on invasive species issues in the CRISP region involved in the following:
• Prevention
• Education, outreach and trainings
• Invasive species surveys and mapping
• Early Detection, rapid response and control
• Restoration
• Research
• Funding
• Citizen science
• Advocacy
We will have a poster session and time for informal sharing of information. This will be the final of our “Who’s Doing What in Invasive Species Management Series.” We will be reviewing information presented in previous sessions and putting together a Regional Invasive Species Management Plan that identifies redundancies and gaps and any efficiencies we can achieve by better coordination. Please join us to contribute to the conversation!
