Marsh Thistle Early Detection/ Rapid Response
In partnership with SUNY Oneonta's Biology Department CRISP is responding to
an early detection of an invasive plant that can take over wet meadows and
roadsides. Marsh thistle appears similar to Canada thistle, but has some very
aggressive tendencies. By responding now, when populations are generally low
and it is limited to a very small part of the state, we have a chance to
eradicate this species locally.
